Ashley Posing In Front Of A Bookshelf, Holding Her LSAT Books. Ashley And The LSAT Virus: An LSAT Unplugged Story (Ashley S LSAT Journey 2)

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I'm here to share my unplugged LSAT journey with you. I've been through the process of taking the LSAT without using any official LSAT prep materials, and I'm here to tell you that it's possible to succeed without spending a lot of money.

In this article, I'll share my story, including my struggles, successes, and tips for other test-takers. I hope that my experience can help you on your own LSAT journey.

My Struggles

I started studying for the LSAT in the spring of 2021. I was working full-time at the time, so I didn't have a lot of time to study. I decided to take the LSAT without using any official LSAT prep materials because I didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I started out by taking a practice test to see where I was at. I scored a 145, which was below my target score of 160. I was discouraged, but I didn't give up. I kept studying, and I slowly started to improve my score.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was learning how to manage my time. The LSAT is a timed test, and it's important to be able to budget your time wisely. I found that the best way to do this was to practice taking timed practice tests.

Another challenge I faced was learning how to think critically. The LSAT is a test of critical thinking skills, and it's important to be able to analyze arguments and identify flaws. I found that the best way to improve my critical thinking skills was to practice reading and analyzing arguments.

My Successes

After months of studying, I took the LSAT in the fall of 2021. I scored a 162, which was above my target score. I was thrilled with my score, and I was so glad that I had decided to take the LSAT without using any official LSAT prep materials.

I believe that my success on the LSAT was due to a number of factors. First, I was very disciplined with my studying. I studied for at least an hour every day, and I took a practice test every week. Second, I used a variety of resources to prepare for the test. I read books, watched videos, and took online courses. Third, I was very confident in my abilities. I knew that I could do well on the LSAT, and I never doubted myself.

My Tips

If you're thinking about taking the LSAT without using any official LSAT prep materials, I encourage you to do so. It's possible to succeed without spending a lot of money. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

* Start studying early. The LSAT is a challenging test, and it takes time to prepare. Give yourself plenty of time to study so that you can feel confident on test day. * Be disciplined with your studying. Studying for the LSAT takes time and effort. Make sure to set aside time each day to study, and stick to your schedule. * Use a variety of resources. There are many resources available to help you prepare for the LSAT. Use a variety of resources to learn different strategies and perspectives. * Be confident in your abilities. The LSAT is a test of your critical thinking skills. Know that you can do well on the test, and never doubt yourself.

I hope that my story has inspired you to pursue your dreams. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

Thank you for reading my story. I hope that it has been helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Good luck on your LSAT journey!

Sincerely, Ashley
